Some insight into Feynman’s approach to electromagnetism

چکیده

Abstract We retrace an ab initio relativistic derivation of the inhomogeneous Maxwell’s equations that was developed by Feynman in unpublished notes, clarifying analogies and differences with analogous treatments present literature. Unlike latter, Feynman’s approach stands out because it considers electromagnetic potentials as primary, reflecting his ideas about quantum foundations electromagnetism.

New Insight into the Relation between Torsion and Electromagnetism

In several unified field theories the torsion trace is set equal to the electromagnetic potential. Using fibre bundle techniques we show that this is no leading principle but a formal consequence of another geometric relation between space-time and electromagentism. ∗E-mail: [email protected] Torsion in general relativity is commonly studied within the framework of Einstein–Carta...

An Insight Into The Z-number Approach To CWW

The Z-number is a new fuzzy-theoretic concept, proposed by Zadeh in 2011. It extends the basic philosophy of Computing With Words (CWW) to include the perception of uncertainty of the information conveyed by a natural language statement. The Z-number thus, serves as a model of linguistic summarization of natural language statements, a technique to merge human-affective perspectives with CWW, an...

An Insight into the Flammability of Some Bio-Based Polyesters

Abstract: The heat release capacity of polymers can be generally predicted using a method based on the additivity of group contributions (the Van Krevelen approach). Nevertheless, there are some exceptions, evidencing that this approach is insufficient and must be completed. In this study, the kinetic triplet accounting for the description of pyrolysis is identified for 11 polymers. Activation ...
